EXCEL to DICOM WORKLIST SCP

This tool provides a DICOM Worklist SCP from an Excel spreadsheet and offers you the option of connecting DICOM modalities without an external RIS system.
The idea for this tool arose when we needed a tool to test the DICOM worklist interface of a modality under different load conditions and to supply it with different numbers of data records. We later realized that this DICOM worklist SCP could also be used in practice.
For practical use, we attached great importance to simple commissioning and maintenance. We extended “EXCEL to DICOM WORKLIST SCP” to include a number of functions, such as

1. deletion of expiring orders after one day,
2. an interface to view all orders and delete invalid ones if necessary
3. missing information in the Excel table is filled in with default values that can be stored. For example, if no scheduled start time is stored, the current time is used.

“EXCEL to DICOM WORKLIST SCP” can run as a service or as an application under Windows. It regularly checks whether there are new entries in the Excel spreadsheet and then adds them to the DICOM worklist.
